Andrew Redpath

Andrew will be leading the development of tailored solutions and product lines for impact-minded philanthropists who share the drive and ambition to address the world's most pressing environmental, scientific and social needs. Andrew brings a wealth of experience in corporate and social innovation, and performance-based funding models, which will be applied to the development of Benefunder's market insights on impact philanthropy and associated investment strategies. Andrew will also lead Benefunder's client engagement strategy for corporate and private foundations, and Benefunder's UHNW Private Philanthropy service offering.

To date, Andrew's career has spanned four continents working in Corporate Finance & Investment Banking (Mergers & Acquisition), Global Health and Impact Investment.

Prior to joining Benefunder, Andrew worked with The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in Geneva, Switzerland, the world's preeminent health financing mechanism, which channels $39 billion of funding from the public and private sectors to 100+ countries burdened with global health pandemics.  

During his time there he worked at the forefront of corporate engagement in social impact ventures, developing partnerships within global Banking, Insurance and Technology sectors to drive innovation and technological advancements throughout the global grant portfolio. At various stages, Andrew was responsible for the financial negotiation and oversight of the organization's largest and most complex portfolios in Africa. 

Earlier in his career, Andrew worked in Mergers & Acquisitions at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Melbourne, Australia, and Financial Services advisory at Ernst & Young in London, United Kingdom.

Andrew received his M.B.A. from the University of Oxford, United Kingdom, and he has a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investments from the Financial Services Institute of Australia (FINSIA).  Andrew also holds undergraduate degrees in Finance and Biological Science from Deakin University, Australia.
