Academic partners

Academic institutions provide access to their best and brightest faculty, stewardship and transparency of funding, and a source of early stage companies and intellectual properties. In return, Benefunder provides a scalable new source of funding for faculty and a resource to help monetize the inventions resulting from the world-class research occurring in their halls.

Syracuse University

Known for its diverse fields of studies, Syracuse University is a nationally recognized research institution.  Benefunder has partnered with Syracuse to help advance the school's interdisciplinary research in the humanities and sciences. 

Stanford University

Founded in 1891, Stanford University has been a national leader in research and education for the past 125 years. Comprising seven schools, this Silicon Valley institution is dedicated to fostering student excellence in diverse areas that include humanities, sciences, and engineering.

Blumberg Institute

One of the nation’s leading centers for translational research, particularly for hepatitis B and liver cancer.  The Blumberg Institute supports drug discovery, biomarker discovery and translational biotechnology around common research themes such as chronic hepatitis, liver disease, and liver cancer.

La Jolla Institute

Rutgers University

Harvard University

Accelerators and Incubators play a critical role in the Innovation Ecosystem.
